The STCRC may require that two reports are completed for each research project:
1. The first report is to be a full technical report written for an academic audience and should present all details involved in the project from research design through to recommendations.
2. The second report is to be an end-user report which is tailored for relevant tourism industry and /or government end-users; it will highlight the practical implications, opportunities and recommendations from the technical report. This report will need to be written in a different style from the technical report with the aim of creating high levels of awareness and up-take by end-users. STCRC, with Common Ground Publishing, have developed a blank Word template to be used for all reports submitted for publishing (Publishing Template). The easiest way to use our template is to save a local copy as a word document on your hard drive and start writing your report. Should this not be possible, you can always load our template behind your existing document and use the available styles.
Simply attribute the available styles to the text, following the Publishing Guide 2010. Please note that a complete spell and grammar check, including correct referencing, is the responsibility of all authors.
