STCRC International Travel Grants
The Sustainable Tourism CRC recognises the importance of international experiences
for PhD students. In response to this the STCRC offers an International Travel Grant
to PhD scholars in receipt of a STCRC scholarship. The purpose of the International
Travel Grant is to assist a PhD student to attend and present at an international
conference. Up to $2,500 may be allocated to assist the PhD student in attending
an international conference. Note: the International Travel Grant is a competitive
scheme and only a small number will be awarded each year. There will generally be
two opportunities each year to apply for the International Travel Grant, one in
late May, the other in late November. If an STCRC scholar is awarded an International
Travel Grant they are unable to apply for any further travel funding. A summary
of International Travel Grants awarded to date is provided below.
